As far back as memory allows Jackie Black has been beset with an enduring love for color and design. With constant intrigue for the human situation, mixed with a love for the classics, her works now seem to convey elements of life that have become constant throughout the ages. She enjoys working in all mediums and mixes.
Jackie Black received her fine arts education through experience and at the University of Utah. Jackie spent part of her art career as a graphic artist, art director and illustrator for ad agencies. She currently is a full-time artist and illustrator. She has painted realistic works in the likeness of the masters. Her most recent works focus on producing images that reflect the play and contrast of bright light refracting off surfaces.
Jackie Black works have been shown throughout Washington, New Mexico, and California, Utah, Hawaii, Iowa, and New York. They can also be found among many private collections.
