Leslie LeCornu Leslie works with layers of thin and thick color, washed or adhered over textured or smooth surfaces. Traces are left by assorted papers, drawings and surfaces, which are wiped, layered washed, stippled and sanded; all adding an accumulated depth and a sense of age. The average painting has three to 15 layers of paint. Leslie’s works of art fill a niche in Maui and through out the world for abstract and tropically infused art that transforms empty walls and creates synergy within the overall home design. Leslie works closely with interior designers to complete room designs with her art. Her art work includes illustration, album cover design, interior & exterior projects, tattoo & textile design.
